What do we Do?

Our main activities of the year are our Geological Field Trips, in which we visit Iconic deposits, projects and Geological Landmarks. In them, we also get to meet passionate Geology Professionals which share with us their experience in multiple commodities and projects at different stages of development, from Exploration to Mine Closure.

During the year, we have several fundraising activities in order to keep us going and make these valuable Geological Field Trips possible. We look forward to have as many people involved and we're always keen to have new Sponsors!

Our main Social Activity of the year is our Annual BBQ, in which we kindly invite all who help our Student Chapter.

FIELDTRIP Kimberley Region - September 2016

Between Septemper 19th-29th, we had a 10 day field trip to the remote Kimberley Region of north-west Australia, where we visited different deposit styles in either operation or exploration phase.

Besides geology, this trip gave us the opportunity to learn about the challenges faced by companies operating in the region and explore a pristine part of Australia's outback with a deep mining history.
